Although we thought that the beard boom was bound to end and disappear the same way it appeared a couple of years ago, men with fabulous facial hair continue to prove us wrong. This is the reason why everyone has at least one close bearded man in their life; a father, a brother, best friend, partner, you name it. The fact that The Beard became a brand of its own led to a unique style attached to it and to the development of a specific market for bearded men. This makes your job a whole lot easier. In case you still don’t have an idea what to buy to your special bearded men, here are a few good ones.
Beard Comb/Brush Yep, this is a thing. The most popular beards today are far more complicated than the “I didn’t shave for three days” style, and in order to look good, they need to be combed and taken care of. Nothing looks worse than a messy beard à la Robinson Crusoe, so your bearded friend will know how to appreciate this gift. However, you should avoid plastic brushes and combs, since they can cause frizz and static. Handmade wood comb is always a better option. Beard Oil We mentioned before the boom of beard-related products. Here’s one of the most popular, and deservedly so. You should know natural beard oil makes the beard softer, easier to manage and hydrated, all at once. You can choose from various scents and properties, but some of the finest are pine tar, citrus and spice, and timber. Or you don’t have to choose at all. Just buy a cute three samples pack, wrap it up and voila. Beard Tamer Sometimes a beard can have “a mind of its own” and when that happens every hair is going its own way, and it is never the way you want them to go. This can be truly annoying for a bearded fella, so help him to solve this problem with the best beard tamer there is – an all natural beard balm or wax. A multi functional product, such as balm and conditioner combo is even better option. A Suit There is no match like a well-nourished beard and a fine stylish suit. In fact, if the man you’re buying a gift for is less of a lumberjack and more of a proper gentleman, then you should look for the gift in dapper men’s suits department. Depending on his preferences the style can range from classical black and navy to quirky checkered suit. A Plaid Shirt Let’s face it, whether we like it or not, lumberjack style is here to stay, and if you can’t beat them, it is best to join them. A fierce plaid shirt for a fierce manly man will always be a great present. If your bearded fella is into smart casual look, it’s about time to get him a shirt like this. Beard-Loving T-Shirt Statement t-shirts about the importance of beards can be found on each corner. They make quite an interesting and funny gift, especially for younger guys. Search for truly humorous statements such as “If Your Dad Doesn’t Have a Beard, You Have Two Moms”, “With great beard comes great responsibility”, "No Shave Life", etc. A Beard Trimmer Some bearded guys would rather die than shave, but hey, they all must trim their facial hair sometimes. Trimmers are the best tools for shaping the beard, but only if you buy a quality piece. Besides a powerful blade and a number of extensions, a good trimmer will have a vacuum function and sleek design. An Old-Fashioned Straight Razor Sometimes old means evergreen instead of dated, and there are men who would appreciate such a classic, and dare we say – classy gift. The best thing about an old-fashioned straight razor is not its nostalgic feel, but also its ability to shape a larger beard. When buying a gift for a bearded guy, you have to be aware that his top priority is his facial hair, which makes finding the right gift much easier. Keep in mind that beard grooming is essential for every modern beard, so good luck searching through the ever growing beard-lovin’ market. I need to upgrade the trimmers that I have as they don't work all that well. All of the things you listed here would be great gifts! My birthday is coming up so I might hint to my wife to get me something off this list.

My mother wants to get my brother some beard care items for his stocking this Christmas. He and his friends want to do a beard-growing contest during the holiday break. I liked your suggestions bout getting a beard tamer because it can help the bread look and feel better. It might be smart for her to get something that will help protect the skin on his neck from the beard hair as well.

Thank you! This is very helpful. I’m working out a plan for a new website and have been looking all over the web for information. You have more on this one page than others have had on their entire sight. Blackwood for men makes my scalp feel way refreshed (check on google. You can find them at Costco)
